What is Pitta Bread?
Pitta (also called pita or pitta bread or Turkish pide bread) is a round flat wheat bread made with yeast. Pitta and other flat or pocket bread is traditional in many Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisines from North Africa.
Pitta Bread is one of the oldest recipes known to mankind. It can be opened into a pocket to fill with any filling of your choice and can be accompanied with curries and kebabs.
